Hi. I am planning to visit China for the summer vacation in August with some friends. We would like to go to Beijing and Shanghai. Does anyone have any recommendations for travel agents or any packages you've come across? Please let me know. |

Check the end of the China visa thread before you get your hopes up. How long is your ARC good for? |

go to a korean travel agent and book a flight with them. they will take care of your tourist visa as well.
as for tours. go to chinatour.net
you can find good tours there.
your connection flight from beijing to shanghai i advise you to buy online. much cheaper than your travel agent. if you can read chinese and have a credit card, you can use the following page:

dont do package tours to china, just buy plane tickets and do your own thing. beijing and shanghai have lots of english speakers these days so no worries getting around. check on elong.com and sometimes plane tickets are not much more than the train tickets between shanghai and beijing. |
