So I sent off my documents to my recruiter the other day... Last year when I worked in a hagwon they gave me a number to quote and then I didn't need any documents when I sent my passport to the korean embassy in London. However according to the epik website they have nothing to do with you aquiring your visa. Has anybody from the UK been through this? Will I have to assemble my criminal record check, transcripts ect all over again? My university finds me annoying enough as it is...

As always I apologise if this question has already been asked on this board.

You'll get a Notice of Appointment (NOA) from EPIK... it will just be a letter saying that you have been accepted. In the package, you'll also get two copies of your contract. You'll need to bring the NOA and one of the contracts to the embassy... along with your passport, some passport sized photos (maybe), and a fee (maybe). I just went through this in March, but I did get my visa in Japan, which is why I'm not certain about the photos and the fee.

I was a bit confused too when I didn't get a confirmation number this time, so I understand what you're asking. But you won't need to get another CBC and more transcripts.
