Did you know that because my school (which is in Seoul) is next to a mountain, the air is automatically cleaner than in the rest of the city?

Did you know that the air inside is obviously dirtier than the air outside, so we need to open all the windows and let that wonderful smog in?

Did you know that Korean teachers apparantly have bionic lungs and scoff at us weaker humans?

Many adjectives can be used to describe the air of Seoul, but I do not think "fresh" is one them.

This strength comes at a price. Just as Superman was vulnerable to Kryptanite so do Koreans have a vulnerability to what I call the non circulating air syndrome. This is why Fan Death is a serious problem in Korea. Foreigners are not immune to this. Just the other day there was a report on Arirang TV that fan death has claimed it's first non-Korean victim. This was followed by a speech from Isaac warning all Alien Residents to open the window whenever using a fan.
