Woah, Germany are on insane form. I'd even say they are one to win the cup. Yes, England are being sucky as usual but this is the first exciting game I've seen in this sickeningly disappointing world cup.

| FIFA's luddite refusal to implement goal line technology is well and truly beyond ridiculous. If the ball lands half a meter inside the goal and the ref misses it, there has to be some kind of back up plan. It works in every other sport. |

| The fact that England are falling for the same trick over and over again, the exact same cross tactic, means they certainly deserve this loss. It's just a pity I can't brag to Americans that we got further than they. |
