Well, it would be pretty hard for them to put any deceptively positive spin on losing 7-0 to Portugal - especially since they took the gamble of allowing it to be broadcast live throughout North Korea ...

If they lied about thier games, then they would also have to come up with the story that the Western imperialist media is lying about the game results as part of a conspiracy to undermine thier socialist paradise. I wonder if the North Korean Kim Jong Il worshipers would fall for something that is obviously not true. |
