I'm sure this has been discussed before, but the search results display is not working at the moment:
In Japan, the Yamato (Black Cat) Transport Company has a useful service that allows you to mail your luggage to/from the airport, and I'm hoping Korea has something of the same sort. I will be moving to Daejeon next month, and I plan to spend a few days in Seoul after I fly in. Is there a parcel service at Incheon Int'l that would allow me to ship my bags down to my apartment? The last thing I want is to have to lug a bunch of suitcases all over Seoul. |

There is, at the far end of the departures terminal I think. I'm not sure exactly about the location, but the last time I was at the airport I saw a shipping place. |

Thanks, waynehead. Does anyone know the name of this operation (or approximately how much it costs)? |

I'll go ahead and answer this myself, just in case anyone else searches the topic. There is a luggage shipping operation in the arrivals area. It is located next to a cell phone rental service and across from Family Mart. The service was cheap to central Korea: 10,000 won for smaller bags, 15,000 for two monsters that weighed 60 pounds each. It might cost more to send them to Busan or Mokpo. The girl at the counter just eyeballs the bags and gives you an amount. Anyway, well worth it. |
