|

I have an American E-2 visa. Under the "entries" section, it say "M". Does this stand for multiple entries? When I leave for Thailand in a month, I won't have any problem getting back in the country, right? This seems like an obvious question, but my principal and co-teacher INSIST that I have to apply for a multi-entry visa before I leave, and are freaking out that I won't be able to get back in the country if I don't (I've even showed them my visa). I'm 99.9% sure I'm correct on this, but their absolute insistence has me second-guessing... |

you have a multiple entry visa. I had the same. I never asked for it, but when my visa was issued I got the 'M'. I went to China and back with it with no problem. It all depends on what the consulate gives you. I know some do and some don't. Mine was from the Boston consulate. |

"M" means multi-entry so you are fine. IF you want to assure your co-teacher then tell them that you will pick up a re-entry permit from the immigration office at the airport for 30k won.
They can indeed verify that you can get it at the airport and everyone will be happy.
If you really are second-guessing it, you can also pop into the immigration office at the airport (in a small hallway along the back wall of the departures level behind check-in counter "F") and be told that you are fine. |
