So I just got an E-mail from a recruiter about a school called Sisa Plus.

They're in Anyang, Kyungkido (which Wikipedia tells me is a little ways south of Seoul, so that's a plus, I guess). And the recruiter tells me I'd be teaching "Mostly Adults." A quick gogling didn't show me any threads on this forum, but I might just not be looking hard enough.

However, one thing that has me a bit leery is the schedule. Namely, it's a couple of hours in the morning, a break, and then a couple of hours in the evening. Seems there's a difference between 'teaching hours' and 'office hours.' (namely, one 'office hours' session is like 5 hours long, but supposedly I'd only be teaching three classes in that time?)

Anyway, if anyone's heard anything about Sisa Plus, or even can enlighten me on the whole office/teaching hours thing, I'd muchly appreciate it. Thanks!

They are obviously taking advantage of the fact that YBM Sisa young o sa is one of the largest hogwon chains in Korea. YBM has two branches ECC kids ELSI adults conversation.

I would doubt that Sisa Plus has any connection with Sisa-Young-O-sa except in name. Any hogwan is a crapshoot even the ones from reputable
chains you work for the school not the company. Each school is different everything depends on your director. Try to get in touch with someone who is currently employed with them.
