First, is it just me or is the search function on this site horrid??? I never come up with results or if I do, it took about 20 minutes to get them.

Regardless...I need to cancel my cell phone since I'm going back to America for a bit. I asked my husband (Korean) to do it for me, but he said that it would be easier if I did it. Apparently they give Koreans a REALLY hard time.

I do not have a contract anymore. I'm with LG. Has anyone had problems canceling their contract? Or just canceling their phone? Thanks

I'm with SKT and cancelled mine today, though I still had about a year left on my contract.
I didn't have to pay a cancellation fee, just paid out the rest for my phone itself.
You should have no problem cancelling your phone. Just take the proper documents with you - usually just your ARC.

Thanks so much...just wondering...did they give you a hard time about it?

Also - did you go to one of the customer service centers? Or just a random store?

No problem Smile

No hard time... I was just unwilling to pay such a huge amount for not keeping another year.

I went to one of those big service centers.
I'd call LG Customer Service before heading out.
They speak English, so they should be able to direct you in the right direction!
