Has anyone done this before?
I am a US citizen but my girlfriend is Dutch. Does anyone know the paperwork we each need? Thanks. |

Well done on marrying a Euro-bird, but more importantly you're marrying a NON-korean. You won't ever have to tolerate the B.S. that goes along with their culture. |

The easiest thing to do is to contact both of your embassies and ask them. They will give you plenty of advice and links to the forms you need to send out. They have been really helpful so far.
I'm planning on getting married to an American (I'm from NZ) so we have a list of paperwork as long as my arm. As soon as we get it all together we have to go to the NZ and US embassies, followed by some dude who signs it off in Korea as well.
Good luck and let the good times follow |

Curious, are you gathering all these documents in Korea or do you need to send things to/from home?

In addition to what's required for the American, here is the procedure for New Zealanders getting married in Korea. It's not so long. |
