Thinking about taking a job there for a company called GLA, at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies- anyone care to share any thoughts or experiences?

Also, does anyone live in Yongin or have any experience living there? Curious what the vibe is, if there's much to do, much nightlife, if the subway runs there (I've read varying things), how long it takes to get to Seoul, etc.

Thanks!

i don't live in yongin but i live in bundang (migeum) and can tell you that the bundang subway line has two stops in yongin, jukjeon and bojeong. it would take about 45 minutes to get into seoul on the subway, and of course longer to get to certain places in seoul. also usually buses are faster than the subway for getting to seoul.

I live here. It's a huge city. (in area) There are dumps, and new areas. There are busy districts with lots of buildings and companies, then there are places that look like the countryside with dirt roads that stink.

Ahh nightlife. No. It's too spread out. Bundang has some decent places to drink, which is only 10 minutes away. But for clubbing you'll have to go to Seoul. 45-60mins.

No subway, for the most part. Other poster mentioned 2 stops on the border of Yongin and Bundang already. Getting our own subway line called the Ever-line (lol) in the near future.

Yongin has 2 intersections with stoplights that never work. They haven't fixed them in at least 3 years.
