This might be a long shot. but looking for a survivalist/PX type of store.
A place where I can pick up some 550 paradord, a good quality
bushcraft knife, a decent parang perhaps. These sorts of things.

Unless you're planning to venture into the DMZ, there really aren't any remote places left in the country where you would need to "survive". Nor is there much wild game left to kill.


*However there (at least used to be) such a store in the coex mall about 2 years back.

You can find everything you're looking for in one portion of the big Namdaemun market. You'll know when you've hit the survival/military section.

I saw an Army surplus store in the Gimpo area on my way back from Gangwha Island. That's as much as I can tell you

There's a place in Insadong called the knife gallery that sells all kinds of knives, swords, nightsticks, batons, knuckle dusters etc. It's quite an interesting place to spend 30 mnutes or so.

Dongdaemun flea market area(not normal dongdaemun).


Less so survival, moreso old army stuff
