I have an HP dv9428ca laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. It's a good machine, but is lacking in one area, it has integrated graphics (NVIDIA 6150 Go). I don't know how to tell if there is a slot available to put in a proper graphics card. Even if it's a measly 256 PCI it would make things run a hell of a lot smoother. What can I do? |

laptops almost never come with a slot to upgrade graphics. Unless you paid $5000 for it, it isn't going to have one. A couple years ago there was a big stink about a very expensive laptop coming that was going to let you change the graphics card, but it was pricey. |

I'd google your laptop code (which you know) and add the words 'upgrade gfx card'
see what comesup inbetween the tonnes of yahoo answers crap, if you can, you'll quickly know.
you might be lucky? |
