KB* Bank is (one of) the authorized agent for Western Union in Korea.

You can go to the foreign exchange desk in any KB* bank and get western union services.

Go to this site and fill in the appropriate blanks. You can request a list of up to 50 agents. The list can be text only or map and text.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but just in case you didn't know - Western Union has probably the worst transfer rates around. I really wouldn't use it in Korea. Even if you don't have a bank account, you can transfer money abroad with your passport at any normal bank. I've done it a few time without a bank account. It only takes 1 to 3 business days to arrive at the destination account.

I think that WU is mainly used for emergencies to transfer something really fast (i.e. within an hour), or by illegal migrant workers to send money home to their families.

IBK (bank) is the official agent for Western Union in Korea.

Don't need an account there - if you want to collect/send money - they do it all.

I collected USD $7,500 via Western Union via IBK and they happily gave me 10,000,000won cash.
