I have posted some P.M.'s that don't show up in my "sent" box, but in my "out" box, which would indicate that they weren't sent. I do get a message saying my mail was successfully sent, but it doesn't seem to have been because I don't receive an answer.

I have sent a message to a mod, but that landed in the "out" box. I'm confused and frustrated!

Does someone know how the system work?

they don't become sent until some reads the message.
