What are your plans in case of war/an epidemic/a natural disaster/zombies? I'm a big fan of disaster/apocalyptic fiction so I like to think about stuff like this. I guess it's also good for preparing myself. Smile

I think in most every situation I would stay. I'm in Busan so I'm not too worried in case of a war. Anything else, I feel like it's way safer to lay low in my apartment than get exposed/trampled at an airport. What do y'all think?

Death.
Smile

I'm a big fan of apocalypse fiction too. I think if the situation is totally hopeless (The Road) and if I was pretty sure my family was dead, I would probably opt for suicide alongside my husband. If he wanted to live anyway I guess I'd just sulk and try to avoid rape.

For a zombie apocalypse, I'd team up with my husband (IE his brawn would save my weak ass) and see if we couldn't get in with a group of survivors heading out of the city. That is one good reason I should learn Korean now. It'll be really hard to communicate otherwise. I think my sewing skills could be put to good use by mending clothing, providing alterations, and maybe even learning to sew up non-zombie-infected cuts.
Oh, and avoid rape.

In case of a more realistic war scenario, I suppose I'd just to whatever my embassy tells me to do. I think rape is highly unlikely in this case, but as always, I'd avoid it.

I'm still unsure where I stand on the cannibalism issue. But if the body is already dead and the meat isn't tainted...

Zombies.

Stay put for a bit. Those big ass steel doors would be hard to get through. But the lack of personal weapons cache I had in the US makes it slim chances of surviving.

Pretty much any other situation, go to the nearest bar with a good stock of whiskey, get a cartoon of cigs, and kiss my ass goodbye in a sweet Kentucky or possibly (Scotish or Irish) blur.
