I have a macbook, myhubby has an Aus pc. All we ever need is the adaptor to fit the plug. Your imac should be the same. It should say 110-220 on the power cord somewhere (at the block thingy at the end). Just check.

You don't need a power converter. Just buy a new cord for your Imac at a Hi-Mart or any computer shop.

I brought my iMac from Canada to Korea and am doing fine without any power converter Smile

What did you guys carry your imacs in? I'm leaving Korea and bringing mine with me, but I can't find a good bag. I think I'm going to put in in my suit bag and carry it on the plane with me?

Mmstyle,

Are you Australian?

I thought the voltage was different ~

I want to take my Imac to Oz.... would I only need an adaptor?

Thanks.

I simply kept my box and all packaging. Put it in the special care section of the plane. I knew that I would be lugging it around country-to-country someday. But I decided against a laptop because it stays at home 99.999% of the time.
