Hi, guys, I am wondering coming over the end of April and looking at getting a second hand desktop. What are the prices like? Also, do they have stores that sell used computers? Just wondering where I could get the best deal, thanks in advance guys. |

Fill up your baggage allowance with clothes etc. and worry about computers once you get to Korea- lots of options, wide range of prices. |

I recently bought a P3 850Mhz with all the bits I needed and a 17" monitor for about 350,000 won. |

You can get anything you want for under 700,000 won. I have tonnes of friends who have bought computers in the various techno markets. |

The previous posters are right. But to answer your question, used computers are more expensive in Korea than in North America. The up side is that they also hold their value a bit longer. So you dont really end up spending more once you resell it.
FYI, home Internet connections are about 30% cheaper than back home. |
