Every time I hear the credit card machine going at the front desk of my hagwon(gleefully taking people's tuition money) I'm reminded that I work in an 'English shop' and not a school.

That's probably why unruly kids and sleeping, stroppy teenagers are never threatened with being removed(unfortunately), like they do in real schools.

I was wondering how many of the people who visit this site work in real schools? Are all Hagwons shops? Mine certainly seems to be....

I think hagwons who have a profit-minded attitude instead of an education-based motivation should expect the same attitude from their employees(it's certainly mine now after almost 2 years in these crappy 'institutes'). OR am I wrong?
