I just had the internet installed today and was trying to access a few sites when I discovered that they had been blocked by my ISP! My ISP is GS (GangnamBangSong) gsbi.co.kr

I am not referring to the Korean Communications Authority/National Police block but rather one imposed by my ISP. When I click on a forbidden link I get this pic.

Among the sites blocked are

4chan, Internet Proxies, and free adult sites

I know these sites are available within Korea as I used them last year.

So what's the deal? Has anyone else here encountered the same thing?

I was just browsing another thread and I was unable to click on the link as it had also been banned

Add

evilmilk.com and afunnystuff.com to the list of websites not deemed appropriate by Gangnam Internet

Ring the number and give them an ear bashing. If that doesn't fix the problem, cancel the service.

There must be more to it than plain old cencorship. It seems weird to me.

Well 'aint this the darndest thing.

I did call them and said waygookwin waygookin

And then an English speaking lady came on and told me to call back in 10 minutes

I subsequently checked the sites and they are all working now!
