Good point. Why was she protected? This is an older story by the way (2007). It was suppressed by the major news organizations, for the most part. Why?

It's antisemitic to say she did anything wrong. Just like it's antisemitic to criticize the perps involved in the Lavon Affair, to have resentment toward the pilots who attacked the USS Liberty, or to question the motives and actions of Israelis dressed in Arab costumes riding around NYC in a van filled with explosives on 9/11. We must believe this girl and assume someone else spraypainted swastikas on her door even if she was caught redhanded on videocamera. If you think she spraypainted the swastikas herself, even if she was caught on camera doing so, you're definitely an antisemite and probably a Nazi.

They probably didn't want to be bombarded with calls from the ADL and others calling them antisemites.

Why does not reporting on a totally trivial local news story at a national level constitute "suppressing" a news story? They didn't report on it because no one except people with a rabid hatred of Israel would care. People do stupid things every day, there's a limit on how much of the news should be devoted to it, and that limit is all ready regularly exceeded.

I'd like to see a source for this on the 9/11 thread.

If you don't mind.

For the simple reason, Fox, that for the past couple of years, every time some eleven year-old kid ties a knot in a piece of string and hangs it on a door as a prank, there is mass-hysteria and international media coverage.

I'd rather see that out of the national media as well. The fact that they have failed to show rational forebearance on some issues doesn't mean they should also fail to show it on other issues. Rather, it means they need to stop using this pitiful nonsense as a distraction and focus on actual newsworthy material in general.

I don't care if some bumpkins in a particular town draw a swastika, or put up a noose, or anything else; that's a local issue. If someone has a report on how prevalent such things are a national level, perhaps that would be newsworthy. This, however, is not, and failing to report it as such does not constitute suppression.
