I work at a hagwon on an E2 visa. I worked in another hagwon previously on an E2 visa and finished my contract.
This week, I gave notice that I will be quitting, and my boss is okay with it. He said that he'd cooperate with me completely and do whatever is needed to help me start working at a new hagwon.
However, my current E2 visa began on March 16, and my last day will be August 16. Is it possible to transfer my visa if my school is cool with it? If not, will I need all of the documents required to get an E2 visa from outside of Korea?
If anybody can regale me with a recent, similar experience, I will be grateful. I've tried searching the jobs forum using google, but much of the information I've found seems to be outdated or contradictory. I always swore that I'd never make an eslcafe.com account, but my current uncertainties have warranted the unthinkable. |

Basically if your current employer is willing to cooperate with you, then as long as he doesn't cancel your visa, you would not have a problem. Your visa would be renewed whenever it is going to expire. This is what my friend did and she didn't have to make a visa run or anything, smooth transition. |

Well, I'm not finishing my contract. We are agreeing to end it seven months early. |
