I've been told through word of mouth that there will be new E-2 changes implemented effective July 15, 2010 requiring E-2 visa applicants from the USA to submit an FBI background check only. Statewide checks will no longer be accepted. The apostille process will no longer be necessary which is cool with me. Lastly, the FBI check and original degree will need to be notarized by a Korean Consulate in the USA only.

Has anyone heard about this? I like to hear whatever anyone has to say.

Try checking out the "New Immigration Laws" thread that was started before you posted this. Laughing

It will be on the first page.
