Does anyone know if this is legal in Korea? Could I check a speargun in luggage or would it be confiscated as a "weapon"? Any divers know about this? Thanks
I'm not sure if it's legal, but I've seen loads of Korean divers packing them. It varies upon location. If you want to do it while snorkeling you better beware of the Haenyo, they'll eat you alive (google if you don't know what I'm talking about). As for taking one on an airplane, disassemble it and hope they don't consider it a weapon. I think you can buy them here, but I don't know where to look.
