I just arrived in Seoul and found out I already have vacation the week of July 26. Since it is such short notice I am wondering what are some inexpensive places to travel.
Is it better to stay in Korea? Where are some good places to see besides Jeju Island?
Can I still find cheap places to visit in Asia outside of Korea?
Are there any good websites that has tour groups/itineraries that travel outside of Korea (I already know about Adventure Korea)? |

| yeah, every english teacher in korea has off that week! i am going to japan, round trip tickets were about $500 and still are. i use http://www.kayak.com for plane tix. you might want to check out http://www.intrepidtravel.com/ for small group tours. |

no, i guess not every teacher, but a lot. i do, and my boyfriend, and most other people i've talked to... for summer vacation. |

Fly into Osaka, Japan and go to the cities Kyoto and Nara. (less than one hour by train)
Flights to Osaka are generally cheaper than Tokyo. |
