I'm not sure if it's universal, but the two in my area close by 4pm |

| I think almost all the banks in Korea are closed by 4:30 at the latest. At least I have never seen any open past that time. |

The bank unions won out a few years ago. It used to be 9:30-4:30, now it's 9:00-4:00 for the majority of banks. |

Seems that way, but they really don't leave at 4:00PM here. Most of them have to stay and make telemarketing calls, etc. until well after 4. I don't blame them, it's the system here that's screwed. I remember being a part-time bank teller in my high school days. It's not rocket science, but they have to do a lot of other crap. |
