Hey , because of the new visa rules, I have extra tickets to china this summer my friend can't use. The first one fly from Seoul to Beijing on July 19th and the return is from Shanghai on July 31st.
I paid 450,000 for the pair, but willing to sell them half price. Or, if you want to buy individually, we can work that out as well. Drop me a line if your interested, but you gotta know, you need to either have 6 months or more left on your ARC card or have visited China in the last 2 years to be eligible for a visa |

so you only have a flight to beijing and a return to seoul from shang hai?
or do you have a r/t to beijing and a r/t to shanghai? |

the new visa rule is just what i said, we need to have 6 month of validity left on our alien registration card or have been to china in the last 2 years to get a visa. it just changed on july 1, in that magical time after i bought tickets and before i got my visa.
the ticket is a one way from here to beijing on the 19th, and a one way from shanghai to here on the 31st |

What exactly is this visa change? Does that mean if I have 6 months left on my ARC, I don't need to apply for a visa to visit China? Can't you just apply for a visa with your passport? |

if you apply for a tourist visa (L) for china in korea, you will need to give them a copy of your arc.
no arc. no visa.
at least thats how its been for me the past few times ive flown to china.
but apparently, even if your arc isnt valid long enough anymore, if you have been to china in the past two years, you are still eligible to get a visa.
however. im not interested in going to shanghai. if it had been a r/t flight seoul-beijing, i woulda considered it. |

If you're not eligible to apply for a Chinese visa because your ARC card runs out in less than 6 months and you are a US citizen, you could fedex your passport, & app and a photo to a visa service in the States. I know of one in Houston that works really well. You just fedex it there, ask (& pay) for rush service and they fedex it right back to you. That's it. No ARC card needed.
It'll cost probably a couple hundred after the $100 consular fee plus visa service fee plus fedex but it may be worth it to you rather than eating the cost of a wasted ticket.
PM me if you're interested in contact info for that visa service I know. I used to work there and I trust them implicitly. |

Too bad you don't have two sets! Can you even transfer tickets in one person's name to another person? We had to submit passport numbers and such for out tickets.
Anyhow, my Chinese friend says you can EASILY sell one or both of them on a website targeted towards Chinese people. You can email her and she will help you post it on a Chinese website. ([email protected]). |
