I've been in the process this last 10 days or so of trying to get familiar with a new laptop I bought. I just went to a website of a friend of mine and I noticed that most of it is in English but a part of it isn't.

I wonder if somebody could look at it and tell me if it's possible bot get that frikking Korean off of it. I never had this problem on my previous laptop (which also was bought at Yongsan).

The website is www.bachatarueda.com . If you look almost right up at the top it'll have a schedule that says, "Bachata Fusion World Tour" and it'll show some dates.

On my screen, part of all that is English and part of it is Korean. I'm thinking, "Oh........----!" As if it isn't bad enough that I have to use a frigging Korean PC at school. Now I gotta put up with that stuff at home.

Thanks,
Art

Easy there, cowboy. It's not your computer. The little window is a Google Calendar. Sign in to Google Calendar, and change the language in settings.
http://www.google.com/calendar/render

Then, reload the webpage.

Or, just look at a Korean calendar for the days of the week, and months, because that's basically what the script is. Hmm...I have to jab you on that...you've been here 4 years and didn't know that much? Shocked Wink

And, frig, why the frig are you friggin giving your name and phone friggin number out to friggin random people?

Art, (just phone 010 5822 2277.....can't believe he hasn't taken it off already......I guess when things get desperate you start posting your phone number on Dave's) I don't know what to say. There's a bit of Korean on your screen. How about other websites? Just this one bothers you?

One little corner of the website is in Korean? mmmm....it seems such a trifle to complain about......one would wonder if you are trying to draw our attention to this website for other reasons........well, Art? Would you be helping out Mr. Bachata by any chance?

Just out of curiosity, what's the worst thing that could happen to you posting your phone number on a message board? Once upon a time these things were public knowledge and even published in something called a "phone book".

This is Daves, and we're in Korea. People cause shit for the sake of causing it. Someone screwing around could report him as a sex offender or coke dealer. Look at the website he needs to see.
