Hey all,

I've been working for a company called In The World, who seems to run many after-school programs all over Seoul (especially the northeast). I have a month left to go on my contract, and I'm getting a little worried (hopefully just paranoid) that they're going to screw me on the severence pay and airfare.

I have both written into my contract. But they have kind of disappeared lately in regards my question about how to book a flight and be reimbursed, when I'll be given my severence pay, etc. I also am a bit worried because I screamed at some kids a few weeks ago and a few of them got scared and quit... yeah, it was a mistake to lose my temper (I honestly have trouble believing other teachers can always hold it in), but definitely not something they would fire me for otherwise. I actually have more kids than I started with.

But again, just worried because maybe now they have an excuse to fire me before they have to pay my severance and airfare...?? I almost wouldn't blame them. Through honesty out the window and it'll save you like $3,000.

I also saw an advertisement they posted saying they needed a teacher in my neighborhood for the beginning of August. I am leaving in the middle of August... though they run a few schools in this neighborhood... but still, kinda worried.

Can anybody give me some feedback about their experience with In The World in this regard? Either positive or negative??
