Anyone else use Dropbox? I'm a little hesitant to post as this feels a little spammy, but I use it often (I really don't need USB thumbs anymore), and it's free.

Invites get both me and whoever 250mb extra storage so it's a win win.

If you'd rather use skydrive (microsoft), you can sync any folder on your comp up to 2gb. On dropbox you can sync up to 8gb free. (Skydrive does have 25gb for docs but not for folder syncing.)

I would use it a lot more, but one of my schools blocks it. It really is quite good. I'm going to make a new account just for my music. I wish the upgrade was a bit cheaper. $10 a month seems a little on the high side.

Yeah, I work at a government institute, and my office started using dropbox last year when we were working on making a textbook together.

It saved sooooo much time. We still use it all the time - huge, huge timesaver. Instead of sending files through school messenger, email, or transferring physically on a USB, we just put them in a shared dropbox account and can work on everything from our desks.

Huge fan.

School blocks it? That's tough. Have you tried ms skydrive? I prefer dropbox but maybe that will work? As for price, if they boosted storage v. cost I'd consider it.

It's not specifically blocked, because I can still access my files on the website. It means if I work on a file I have to email it to myself then sync it with my dropbox later.

It probably has something to do with blocked ports or something. You can't torrent either.
