| saw an ad on line 4 saying (i think) that the subways would start running until 2 AM. anyone hear anything around those lines? sounds fantastic if so. |

No way they'll do that for just one line. Line 4 is not event he busiest line. Line 2 would make more sense |

| Um, that's just where I saw the sign. I'm assuming it would apply to all the lines. |

| I hope that will happen. So sick and tired of cab drivers refusing to drive you anywhere that wasn't at least 30 minutes away. |

| I would be surprised if they did that for all the lines. And if they did maybe they would limit the service to only the central Seoul area. I can't see a yellow line going all the way to Bundang at 3am. |

Sure, that's how it is now. The light blue line tends to terminate at Sadang more often than not. |

I have a new method for that. Instead of leaning into the window and asking them if they will to your place (being polite, in other words), I just open the door, sit down, and tell em where I'm going. That's that. Usually works. It's a lot easier to say no to someone who's just leaning into your window than someone sitting in your car. |

I know the ad you mean, I see it at Shinyongsan some times. It really looked like they were using the boyband to promote the new service. Should get a photo of it and run it through google translate |

easy solution.
get on the cab, tell him to go and tell him you will tell him how to get there, but dont tell him where you want to go.
i live 10 mins walking distance from hongdae. when im drunk on saturday nights or my feet hurt, no taxi driver wants to drive me home.
so i just get on and tell him to go. if he asks me where, i tell him the direction he has to go in, not where exactly hes going to.
gotta admit tho, some taxi drivers hated me for that. but i dont see any reason to play fair, if they dont play fair. |
