No way they'll do that for just one line. Line 4 is not event he busiest line. Line 2 would make more sense |

Um, that's just where I saw the sign. I'm assuming it would apply to all the lines. |

I hope that will happen. So sick and tired of cab drivers refusing to drive you anywhere that wasn't at least 30 minutes away. |

I would be surprised if they did that for all the lines. And if they did maybe they would limit the service to only the central Seoul area. I can't see a yellow line going all the way to Bundang at 3am. |

Sure, that's how it is now. The light blue line tends to terminate at Sadang more often than not. |

I have a new method for that. Instead of leaning into the window and asking them if they will to your place (being polite, in other words), I just open the door, sit down, and tell em where I'm going. That's that. Usually works. It's a lot easier to say no to someone who's just leaning into your window than someone sitting in your car. |

This would be awesome if it happens. Edit, just checked the Seoul Metro website and it looks like the ad you saw is related to the Korean band "2AM" being named honorary ambassadors to the metro system. Check it out at seoulmetro.co.kr under introduction--notice. |

I know the ad you mean, I see it at Shinyongsan some times. It really looked like they were using the boyband to promote the new service. Should get a photo of it and run it through google translate |

easy solution.
get on the cab, tell him to go and tell him you will tell him how to get there, but dont tell him where you want to go.
i live 10 mins walking distance from hongdae. when im drunk on saturday nights or my feet hurt, no taxi driver wants to drive me home.
so i just get on and tell him to go. if he asks me where, i tell him the direction he has to go in, not where exactly hes going to.
gotta admit tho, some taxi drivers hated me for that. but i dont see any reason to play fair, if they dont play fair. |
