Hey Everyone,
I am looking for some ideas for traveling around Icheon this weekend. Where sould I go, see? What's the best way to get there on a Friday night after work? I was thinking of going to Ganghwa-gun Island friday night, stay the night in a cheap yogwan and then hike Mt.Manisan Saturday and visit a temple or two. Is this doable? Please help as I desparately need to do something this weekend that will bring my spirits up.
Thanks. |

If you get off at Inchon Station, Chinatown is there, as well as a casino in the hotel next to the station. Up the hill from Chinatown is Jayu Park- you can see the harbor and the MacArthur statue. It's a nice park, and there's a really cute cafe clled Parandle on the other side of the park. Songdo has an amusement park, and there's also a mountain in Songdo that's nice to hike. The big shopping area is at the Arts Center (Ye sul he gwan)- tons of people hang-out around there, between that station and the bus terminal station, there's lots of stuff- bennigan's, a Kyobo bookstore, lots of fun bars, etc. =) |

Ganghwa-gun is no place to go to bring up your spirits. |

Again we see "confucian" digging up 5 year old threads with nothing new to add.
