Anyone got any tips? I've tried the usual suspects (Kayak, Expedia, whatever) and I'm not finding anything for less than my 1.3m flight allowance. It's a one-way flight by the way.
Cheers |

oh the beauty of flying back to toronto
i'm not going to lie, you won't find it for 1.3 mill or under....
when i flew to korea, i paid 1500$ cdn to fly with korean air. definately i had to shell out the money from my own pocket cuz that 1.3 mill didn't even cut it |

If you re flying in the summer, you will not find a ticket to Toronto for under 1.3M sorry. It is high season.
In the fall, you could finda ticket from Seoul to Toronto for under 800 000Won, especially if you go through the US (ex: Seoul - Chicago - Toronto). |

I find stop overs from China to Korea to be cheaper. Find a flight from Toronto to Beijing to Korea. |

I'm also looking for a flight mid-October. PatrickGH, do you have any more details? What airlines, and how far did you book in advance? Cheers. |

If you have a K friend/girlfriend/wife, get them to use G-Market.
I saw many one-way fares for 700,000 in some seasons before tax. 1.3 no problem outside of high season. |

Check out American Airlines or perhaps Delta.
They tend to have seat sales in the fall (usually going to asia but you can find something I am sure).
Contact some local (in Korea) travel agencies, if you travel after september you should be able to get a decent deal.
We usually booked about 2 months in advance. |
