Hello
We would like to visit Sokcho during Chuseok....
Was thinking of taking the bus .... but worried about traffic - how bad will it be ???
Is there an option to take the train somewhere and connect ??
what about hotels - I presume we need to book in advance ??
cheers |

Bus- Going there will not be bad (3 hours), getting back into Seoul will be a nightmare and a half, expect 8+ hours if you leave mid day.
Hotels- You shouldn't need reservations over Chuseok as most Koreas will be going home and not to the beaches. It couldnt hurt to make some i guess though.
No train that would make it shorter. Not yet anyway. |

I was there last Chuseok. No need to worry about hotels. If you want to party, better bring some friends along. It was pretty quiet. |
