My crappy adapter killed my power cord/adapter for my computer. Any ideas on how to get a new one in Korea? I checked out Apple's website and can't ship from the states to here... Is there a Mac store in Seoul? With cords that will work with a computer purchased in the US? I'm not the most tech savvy individual, obviously... any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

any adapter will work as long as it has the same out power.
Check out what your old adapter said. Check the part going to your laptop. Any one that has the same number will work fine.
But there are Mac stores in Gangnam and Myeongdong. |

Apple has warehouses and products in Korea. Sort through that. You can get one with a Korea-specific plug. |

I had my adapter blow a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, my power supply was still okay, but the guy in Yongsan said that the best place to get a Korean power supply is the Mac store in Hongdae, or online. |

Also a Mac store in Myongdong... Walk out of exit 5 (The one with the stage and the movie theatre) and go straight for about 3 minutes, it'll be on the right side of the street...
Expect to pay an arm and a leg though, the Mac... Errr... Mark up on things was pretty high |
