I was just told that I need another medical check in about a month.
I renewed my contract in May and I took the drug/blood test. They said
it's for teachers that have been here 2 years... If anyone knows, what kind of test is this and how much will THIS one cost?!

Thanks.

It's free. Don't sweat it. Thy will just check your cholesterol and ask how much you drink and smoke. Just treat yourself to lunch after and tell your co teacher it was really busy at the clinic.

I typed that response on my phone, so it was little short.

I mean all that stuff like cholesterol. Triglycerides, pulmonary function, any obvious infectious diseases (not HIV). Liver function. A questionnaire that asks how much you smoke and drink. I think it asked if you are suffering or have suffered with depression.

They won't test you for drugs. The report will tell you to stop drinking so much, even if your liver is fine. It's just a standard medical. Your co-teachers will have done it as well. It's not a big deal.

Public school teacher?

It is a standard "wellness" (routine medical) check-up and is free (to you).
