Hi,
I'm thinking about taking a cycling trip to Jeju in the summer.
I can't find any information on the Mokpo to Jeju ferry.
Can anyone tell me the times the ferry leaves Mokpo in August?
Also does anyone know the price?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks. |

I don't have ferry info, sorry. I flew. However the riding is really fantastic.
The bike paths (not normally up to the job) are actually ridable at high speed as they are wide. They are some logic lacking points where the trail just ends or has a curb but they are generally pretty safe minus those few places.
The roads over Jolla (sp?) san are world class. Not brutally steep for the most part but a good bit of work and long for Korea. Sadly they grooved the pavement of the car surface parallel to the road so skinny tires are heavily influenced on decents where you need, and can, keep up with cars and need to use the lane. The roads near the mid and top of the mountain roll along in the deep pines but are narrower. In heavy traffic like during the summer it could be nerve wracking or outright dangerous. |
