Hi,

Bit of an odd one I know but will my UK ps3 work? Will I be able to buy and play Korean Ps3 games on it?

Will I be able to connect to Korean servers?

DVD and Bluray regions are different but all PS3 games are region-free.

You'll probably need a signal converter since Korean uses NTSC (60Hz) as opposed to PAL (50Hz) and a plug adapter, both of which might be easier to get in the UK from a communication stand point (unless you can speak Korean)

edit: nevermind, just checked and the above poster appears to be correct, I wish other systems did this with their games...

Not sure, but I imagine that shouldn't be a problem.

Just don't forget to bring a 3-pin plug to a 2-pin plug adapter!

3-pin to 2-pin plug adapter is all you'll need.

The PAL/NTSC issue isn't really relevant any console / dvd / blue ray player that outputs via HDMI doesn't use either system any way. Just plug your PS3 in with a HDMI cable and you'll be ok.

Any yup, Korean games will work on a UK PS3, although Korean blu-ray discs won't.
