thanks in advance! |

Just torrent them, then get your students to put the subs in via Gom Player. 99% chance they know how to do it. |

Go to www.cineast.co.kr and you can download any subtitles to add to any movie you have. |

Using GOM Player:
Start the movie file and click on the 자막도우미 button on the bottom of the screen. Select the 3rd option, "자막찾기" and it will bring up a browser page with subtitles. It should download and load the subs automatically. If not, drag the subs onto the player. |

GOM player is such a second rate player
When will these people ever learn about VLC? |

Second rate? You kidding me, it's as good as VLC and looks better aesthetically. VLC is fugly even with other skins, and it looks cheap as hell with other skins like the windows media player one and doesn't even function properly. |

Agreed. GOM is a great media player. VLC is only good for wacky file formats. VLC is sucky looking and laggy. If Gom played HD files on my comp, it would be my goto player.
Windows Media Player Home Cinema is my joint fyi. |

Do you guys actually use VLC? It's the fastest player out there, and uses almost no resources to run.
VLC is minimalist on purpose, do you actually care about what a video player menu looks like when that has no bearing on it's functions?
VLC even does has hardware acceleration with 1.1 if you like to watch ultra high def video.
The second you said it was "laggy", I knew you had never even touched it. VLC became popular precisely because of how fast it runs.

Getting the subs to work in VLC is a hassle. |

kmplayer is the best one I've used. GOMPlayer is okay. I use VLC player if kmplayer, or GOM, don't work. |

VLC is a very powerful app, but I use KMP because I have to use Korean subs quite frequently. It was written by a Korean programmer, so Korean subtitle management is easy. |

GOM for life, if only for the videos of sexy racing models that pop up whenever I'm done watching something. |
