I'm doing 45 minute craft classes during summer camp with 1st and 2nd grade middle school students. So far, the only thing I can think of to take up a couple of days will be paper mache (maybe masks or pinatas). It's going to take a few days to get the materials, though, so I'm trying to think of some other crafts in the meantime.

Anyone have any ideas? Right now, we're basically working with construction paper, scissors and glue. Most of the things I've found online either need more materials or are way too simple for the students' age. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Have them make a collage. At least that way they can profess their undying love for pop sensation XYZ001.
