My fiance has a problem with her computer.
It seems to be dying a slow and painful death (if there is such a thing). It takes a long time to boot up and crashes on her all the time.
Is there somewhere and someone in Seoul or Suwon that is able to speak enough English for her to communicate the problem and for it to be fixed without costing an arm and a leg?
It's about 2 years old, bought in America and an HP if that makes a difference.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

Probably just needs a format and fresh OS install. |

Take it to any hole in the wall computer store. For 150-200,000 you will be able to get a RAM upgrade (if it needs it), a 500GB HDD and W7 Ultimate installed. He will put the old HDD in an enclosure and you will still have access to all of your old files.
Your computer will have a new lease on life for the fraction of the price of a new computer. |

It turns out it had a trojan on it, among other things. Well actually 96 of them. I've scanned the computer with a couple of virus checkers among other things and It started up like a dream this morning.
I think we'll look into the idea of a different operating system in time (at the moment it's running Vista).
Thanks for everyones support, input and offers of help. |
