Just wondering where I can find some Birkie knockoffs and get some old Birkies resoled? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I got an incredible pair of knockoff sandals at Homeplus last year.

I used to buy birkies for 59,000 when I first arrived and they were 110,000 two years later. I think they were fake evn though the store said they were real. That was in the main shopping street in Jinju but I doubt you are even close to Jinju.

Birk knock-offs are about 4 bucks in China. Seen them all over Beijing and Shanghi.

There's a store right by HongDae exit 5 (double back on the exit) that sells Doc and Birks. Doubt they do repairs. For that, try one of the retailers in one of the major department stores.

And get off your arse and travel!

I see them on the street in front of department stores, as well as in Homeplus. I prefer real ones, though. I found some really nice ones for 85k and wear them every day (unless it's too cold).
