As the title says, I'm in desperate need of some brown socks. I have looked at lotte mart and didn't find them and did not really see them in the main section of e-mart as well. Does anyone know of any good places to get them? I would prefer not to buy them off the street.

what is so urgent for these things, and why is the OP so adamant he or she has to ask for the same thing twice? Shocked

this sounds like the beginning of an episode of "Intervention" or "The OCD project" brewing on Americn cable....

does the OP have any jars of urine of feces in his apat? Cuz that would REALLY sell the series! Wink

Does it matter if the socks have 5 individual slots for each toe?

You can find them at any Department store (Lotte, Shinsegae, etc). The Daks brand is really good, and not too expensive.

You can boil them in soya sauce. Makes a nice medium brown color. But you'll have to leave them in 20-30 min. Not too high a heat either.

That should get you what you want. You can buy soya everywhere.

Yeah! I walked all through Dongdaemun and couldn't find any. Just black and gray. Finally I found super sock ajuma and... nothing. So I asked her, and she dug and dug and finally found some brown socks. I was so excited! But they were in a pack of 5 pairs. WTF? I just need one pair! But she refused to break it up.

Why don't Koreans wear brown socks?

Just wear black socks. They go with anything. Unless you need them for some kind of costume or sock puppets.

Or have someone back home ship you a pair.

I love that there is such a situation that one can actually become DESPERATE for brown socks. Business socks, no less.

I'm not sure why anyone would wear brown socks, but hey, whatever trips your switch.
