Ok, so I have been accepted and all that jazz and was told what city etc, but have not received my NOA, am I the only one? Anyone else in this boat? I got a called from my recruiter last week that it was on it's way and should get it by the end of last week and nothing.

I hate waiting. I need to book a flight asap prices are definitely going up.

Hi Ariel,

Are you with EPIK?
If you are in contact with your recruiter and they say its on its way, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I haven't rec'd mine either however it is in route now (I have the tracking #). Some people who applied late may not receive their EPIK contracts until the last week of July or even August. So, prepare everything you can for your visa and cross your fingers about the flights. Good luck!

Yes I am with EPIK,

Well, my recruiter called me to look for it and to check my email over a week a go and nothing. My recruiter send all my paper work to EPIK on 6/3. I've received an email from EPIK congratulating me for being part of the Fall 2010 staff. I received where I'll be teaching and my recruiter told me where I'll be for orientation all I need is the NOA.

I hate waiting till last minute and yes, all I can do is hope and pray that airfare prices aren't gonna kill me!

Thanks for the heads up!!

Yeah, I just found out about 3 weeks ago I was accepted and then nothing. I didn't rec'v any responses to my questions and then all of a sudden it was in the mail.

I would bother your recruiter again and check if EPIK is sending your contract and NOA to them first and then they are sending it to you. At least then you can plan on some extra days between EPIK sending it and you rec'ving it.

In my recruiter situation, there was an email that went out last week that said EPIK was sending a huge bunch of contracts (apprently, they work in waves). Then, this weekend, I rec'd another email from the recruiter saying they were sending out their first batch of contracts from EPIK, so there are a lot of people still in your boat.

I would imagine that if you sent documents at the beginning of June, you are probably going to get yours a bit late. I'd bother your recruiter just so you feel better and you're not worrying about if you've gotten "lost in shuffle"

Good luck!

Seems to be the way it's done! I found out yesterday that mine it on its way, and I was one of the first to hear that i was sucessful with EPIK. Don't worry. It doesn't take long to get a visa.
