Did anybody else get a sticker on their passport saying 'good for multiple re-entry'?

I'm sure the standard is single... I certainly don't remember applying for multiple. I'm paranoid on whether it's a valid sticker and I'll get the boot at the airport =/
Although I was reading on here from about 2 years ago you can get the re-entry at the airport, which can take hours.

Ask at the immigration counter in the airport if you are not sure.

The usual waiting time at the immi counter is about 15 minutes if you do need to get one.

Americans often get multi-entry visas but be aware that if you have extended your stay the re-entry privilege is lost.

If you have a separate sticker (not on your visa) for multi entry privileges then it is possible that you got it when you got your ARC (if you paid the 50k won fee).

They are free if you are from the UK.

Wait, so if I'm currently on my second year and the extension is on the back of my ARC card, I no longer have multiple entry privilleges? I guess Ill have to get it at the airport then. Can I get it on the way back in to Korea? (going to China)

CORRECT.

Your re-entry privilege does NOT carry over into the extended sojourn period (unless you paid for and received a re-entry permit in your passport).

IF you leave (left) Korea without re-entry privileges your E2 will be (was) canceled and when you return you are given a 90-day tourist stamp.

In regards to re-entry you can either:

a) get it before you go through customs or
b) lose your work status and have to get a NEW E2.
