Late to the party?
Oh man, have you heard of these things called LOLcats? Man, it's like it's Caturday everyday! |

Nobody mocks people for watching a movie, listening to an album, or reading a book "late."
It seems to be only the internet geeks who feel superiority over people for knowing about their precious memes first.
Dorothy Parker? Sooooo 1920s. Next you'll have Walt Whitman as your username. |

I had never seen it before and quite enjoyed it. Everyone needs to lay off the OP. Not all of us spend our entire lives on the internet. |

Here, let me translate that for you:
"I'm behind the times as well, so if you make fun of him you are indirectly making fun of me and that makes me feel insecure. I shall now attempt to make fun of you for my lack of knowledge by attacking you for something that isn't negative whatsoever. I will do this to be a dick, while simultaneously claiming that you are the dick." |

I'm not insecure about anything. I freely admitted that I've never seen it before. I also showed it to some other friends who had never seen it before. I'm sure there are still plenty of other people who have never seen it before. As far as accusing people of being "behind the times" because they haven't seen this particular link, that's just silly. I think people get a lot of grief on this board over trivial things and this is one of them. |

I was going for a silly "Comic Book Guy" type persona with my response. The tone should have been funny. And yet, the joke was really on ME for being so nerdy in the first place. Plus I mentioned Caturday, which, I think, just the thought should bring happy goodness within.
Humor is lost in this forum.
PS. My name is a pun, DORKothyParker. It is meant to reflect my nerdy/dorky self as well as my classy gin-loving self. |

It's funny how he reacts, but this guy is truly happy where he is and doing what he's doing. He's connected with nature and lives to stomp around in Yosemite national park. I noticed many bashed him on Youtube simply because he's happy. I too would find it a joy to experience Yosemite, but probably wouldn't break down and cry going, "What does this mean?" I've seen many double rainbows back home over the years which are beautiful. When it comes to nature, I'll be honest, I have felt emotional and cried about pollution and habitat destruction both in real life and in the documentaries as well as feeling elated in the great outdoors. Personally for me, the green mountain trails and outdoor fitness facilities are the best thing about living in Korea.
You are truly lucky if a double rainbow appears in front of you and you look down to see the ground near your feet covered with 4 leaf clovers. LOL |
