I just blogged about some ideas for using the traditional song "Arirang" in a lesson.

Every student (or most) know it and especially for higher levels, could be fun to rewrite the simple lyrics and update them. I included a nice modern remix that could be used as background music for this lyric rewrite.

But lots of other possibilities. Anyone use it before?

I used it for a graded lesson plan, but never got around to trying that lesson in the actual classroom. It was about Korean immigration to the US. I would also be interested to see if anyone has actually used this in the classroom.
