Hey everyone,

I just found out that I got accepted to an EPIK position in Daegu, but I was hoping to get Ulsan. My girlfriend lives in Ulsan, so I don't want to be 1.5 hrs away from her.

Is there anyone willing to switch to Daegu from Ulsan? It's a bigger city and has better transportation (it has a subway) and it's closer to Seoul.

Please let me know!

Thank you!

I rather imagine that anyone who has spent any time in both of those cities would prefer Ulsan so you may have a hard time getting such a switch. Everything is spread out in Ulsan, but it is close to Gyeongju and is quite rural outside the city proper.

Seems Daegu gets no love on the ESL Cafe. Wonder why?

Dear EPIK: Me & this other guy have decided to switch placements.

You honestly think that might fly? Cute.

Better to just "Man up" and tell her to switch jobs.... if she's as worked up as you are, she'll cave...

if not, well, there's plenty of lovie to be found on the Penninsula... for a price... Twisted Evil

Lol I just got accepted to Ulsan (on the waiting list forever) and I much rather go to Daegu. I have no idea if a switch is possible and I am sure we would both get dropped for trying. It is probably too late now anyway but reading this made me laugh.
