I'm wanting to buy a Pinnacle Video Capture card (commonly called a Dazzle) for Mac but haven't been able to find it in Korea.

This thing: http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/Video+Capture+for+Mac.htm

I've found some generic capture cards, just the a/v inputs that slots in to a USB drive, but no software. I can get one of those for 20k on GMarket but I can't find any software that I can download to record once I hook it up.

So I guess help with either one would be useful. Does anyone know where I might be able to find the Dazzle for Mac? If not, do you know where I can buy some software online that will work with any video capture card?

My goal is to record some PS3 gameplay and upload it to youtube.

If you have a Sony video camera, you can use it to accomplish the same function. The Sony cameras have a video passthrough function that will send the video from the PS3 to the camera, where it will be converted to digital and sent to the Mac via Firewire. You don't need tapes or anything like that. Just run the camera's Y/R/W video connector to the PS3 and the Firewire to the computer. Turn the camera on and open iMovie/FinalCut and you're good to go. I use it to convert old VHS video to DVDs.

No, I've got nothing like that. If nothing is forthcoming, I might just have to ship it in from the states.
