I got the following from the embassy newsletter today
...Beginning on Monday, August 16, 2010, the American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit will provide non-emergency citizen services by appointment only in the mornings. This means that every workday from 8:45 to 11:15 AM only applicants seeking routine consular services with appointments will be seen. Those ACS customers without an appointment may only walk-in to the Embassy for non-emergency services from 1:00 to 3:00 PM (note the time change), every workday afternoon except Wednesdays. The ACS Unit is closed on Wednesday afternoons and U.S. and Korean holidays. Please be assured that if a U.S. citizen has an emergency requiring an ACS service (like an emergency passport issuance) we will accommodate you anytime during a workday whether you have an appointment or not. |
